To celebrate the 91st Birth Anniversary of late Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, former President of India and DG DRDO, the Centre for Joint Warfare Studies (CENJOWS), with support of DRDO and Indian Military Review, is organising a Webinar-cum-virtual expo for the benefit of service officers, DRDO scientists, CENJOWS members and all stake-holders on date to be announced
Objective
The aim of the event is multifold, as follows:-
(a) To reach out to all stakeholders and inform them where DRDO stands today in its journey to empower India with cutting-edge defence technologies.
(b) Disseminating information on DRDO's successes in its mission to achieve self-reliance in realising critical defence technologies.
(c) Generating appreciation amongst armed forces officers about DRDO's efforts to equip the armed forces with state-of-the-art weapon systems and equipment in accordance with requirements laid down by the three Services.
(d) Interaction with Industry on suggestions for joint research, collaboration and assistance required from DRDO to increase private research and indigenous efforts.
